My name is Nick, and strength training has always been more than just lifting weights for me. Strongman became a huge part of my life because it gave me something that a lot of people search for but struggle to find — purpose, discipline, and a way to challenge myself both physically and mentally.
I first got into strongman because I was drawn to the rawness of it. There are no shortcuts in this sport. You can’t fake strength, and you can’t hide when the weights get heavy. Every lift, every rep, and every competition forces you to confront yourself. That honesty is something I really respect about strongman.
But over time it became much more than just a sport.
Strongman became a way for me to manage my mental health. Training gives me structure, focus, and a place where I can push out stress, frustration, and the pressures of everyday life. When you’re under a heavy barbell or trying to move a yoke that feels impossible, everything else fades away. It’s just you, the weight, and the decision to keep going.
There have been ups and downs along the way, like with anything worth doing. Injuries, time away from competing, and moments where motivation was hard to find. But strongman has always been there waiting for me to come back stronger.
This website is where I’ll be sharing that journey.
My return to strongman competition in 2026 is something I’m documenting from start to finish. The good sessions, the bad sessions, the progress, the setbacks, and everything in between. Think of it as a diary of the comeback.
I want to show the real side of strength sports, not just the big lifts on competition day, but the work, the mindset, and the struggles behind them.
Nick.
